The progress of the younger kids was slower due to lack of strength and toughness in the hands. I got them each a Gripmaster (extra light tension) with the caps for toughening the fingertips and told them to use them for 3 minutes, 2X a day (in the car on the way to and from school). They progressed a lot faster, and were excited about their success with the guitar. This was much better than the frustration I was seeing before. I plan to continue to use these with my students. Value: Considering what they're paying me for lessons, this is a tremendous money saver for the parents. It costs less than 1 month, and increases the student's ability tremendously. Only sound and consturction matter in my book, but it is still pretty anyway. Sound: Perfect sound reproduction. No unwanted distortion, hum, or decible loss. Stays put if yanked on. Also, mad props on it being soderless easy to fix for an idiot like me if it shorts out. Which every cable i have eventually did and this one is the only one that when it happened I just cut 1/4" off the end a reconnected the end and volia it worked again. Value: i think the planet waves circuit breaker cable is an excellent value, since these cables have a lifetime warranty (save your receipt)! Desirability: i wanted it, now i have two. Sound: guitar to amp signal has never been cleaner/noise free until i started using the planet waves 20' circuit breaker cable. toss out all those generic cables and get one (or more) of these to drastically improve your tone and signal. Support: never had to use them yet, but their website is very imformative of all their products. there's a section on FAQ's - that's where i found out about their lifetime cable warranty. Overall: with a lifetime warranty - how could you go wrong? you can spend more if you want monsters or mogamis, but these are just as high quality. Zzounds is great, but this product is a hit and miss. You might get a box that everything works, but I had 2 units that didn't. Poor quality control. Which I think everyone wants. Value: I honestly think you maybe paying a little more for what this amplifier dishes out. You are just paying the extra money for the name. Desirability: I think I wouldnt want another RMX Series unless its power rated at 5000 peak watts like the 5050 rmx, and it was sold to me for $699. Other than that I don't want another QSC amplifier. Sound: I've observes and I am sure anyone with the knowledge of amplifiers would agree that the QSC RMX Series peak very quickly, giving the phrase, "Head Room" alot to be desired. There is practically very little "head room", if an amplifier's led light peaks frequently when the volume is pushed, the disappointing issue of distortion that comes with the peak, ie.
