For the price, it's wonderful, fun, and most of all, reliable. The jog wheel is easy to use, and the BPM counter is quite accurate. Beginners get more than they need, which is a good thing. Quality: Love it's design, it's very reliable, and i don't need to worry for a long time about any misfunctions. Value: 199 dollars? Haha, it's worth at least 250. Buy it while you can! Desirability: It just wants to be bought and used to it's potential. Sound: Expressive, passionate, and perfect for the price. No problems here. Ease of Use: Learned to beatmix in 3 days, nuff said. Support: I got 2 at X-Mas, they both blew. This wasn't the product's fault, as i live in Europe, they gave me an American power setting of 115V/60Hz. Very nice, they even sent me 2 fresh ones the following DAY! Overall: When i get rid of it, it'll be because i'm either mad, or upgrading, which i won't do for a long time. The mixer works very well. I would get new needles, but they work fine. If you plan on doing some serious scratching, get new slipmats. Quality: Even though it is made of plastic, it is pretty strong. The metal platters make it so the neetle doesn't jump around. Plastic platters tend to do that. I thought the metal made up for all of the plastic exterior Value: It is great value. I got it for pretty cheep off this website and I was very pleased with the price-quality ratio Desirability: I think the pictures look pretty cool, but i have to say it looks 10x cooler when your standing infront of it. Sound: The sound is great. The crossfader gets fuzzy after a while of use. Ease of Use: Very easy to work. Excellent for new DJ's. Support: Havn't needed to use it. Overall: This product is good for experienced DJ's and excellent for starter DJ's. If you are a begginer, you won't be dissapointed. It would be nice if it had a connection for a light on the board, 'though. Looping and buffered anti shock work very well. Quality: Here's the problem. I've had two of these now, and had trouble with one of the CD's players on each unit after just about 200-250 hours of play. First one I sent back, they tried twice to fix it and couldn't, so they sent me a refurbished one even though first one was essentially brand new. The reburbised one lasted a year before the left CD went out. I had a cd mix 1 that worked great for years, so I don't know what the problem is with the mix 2. Value: Good unit for the price - if it lasts! Sound: Sound quality is good for the price. Ease of Use: Anyone with an IQ of 10 can work this. Support: Couldn't fix my problem after two tries. Very frustrating. Quality: I purchased this player for a small karaoke show I run once a week, and I use it probably 12 times a year besides that show for weddings and other events I DJ/MC. When it works, it's a good player and pretty simple to use, but it has broken down on me twice since I've owned it, once under warranty and now without the warranty. Both times it was the same problem -- the left players will not recognize a disc when one is inserted. That's not good when it is billed as a piece of professional equipment. Value: Not bad, but be preapred for some down time. Support: The company will not do repairs on the equipment they sell once it is out of warranty. You either have to find your own repair person, or send it to New Jersey of California, their only recommended outside repair facilities. In my case, they fixed it once under warranty and it worked for a couple of months until it went out of warranty, and then the exact same problem reappeared. Overall: If you're looking for a professional karaoke player that will stand up to being used on a regular basis, you might want to look elsewhere. Heavy for nothing. Stay away... Value: One word. Overpriced... Sound: Very bad sound. I have owned a pair since December 2005 and it has been nothing but problems. Between CD loading mechanism (cheaply built) or display screen goving our ghost readings or the worst of the worst... I am primarily a hip hop dj and liek to scratch my mixes in. Worst set for this. I bought this deck becaus eI wanted to scratch but it sounds very digital. I choos enot to scratch because it sounds to digital when I do so. I have also had to return my decks to numark over 5 times for other problems. Sound is good however the scratching is aweful. Ease of Use: Very easy to use Support: Support is good however does not compensate for bad product. The nicest support person will not make up for that aweful sound I hear everytime I scratch. Complete with USB and power cables, it's easy to see the lables on the front of the panel and all the control sliders move easy and cleanly. Quality: If this unit lasts as long as the one it replaced, I will be using it 20 yrs. from now, and it comes packed very well. Box was slightly damaged upon arrival, but perfect packing protected it. Value: This mixer is priced much better than other units that cost much more. Excellent value! I WILL be purchasing another one as a back up. Desirability: Although I've never given electronics "sex appeal", more, practicality at the perfect price. Sound: This mixer by far sounds cleaner than the Numark it replaced. No hiss, humming or crackling. Ease of Use: Although I haven't use the usb features of this unit, learning the features is a breeze. The manual could be a little more discriptive, but the "trial and error" method takes minutes. Overall: No desire to search for a different brand, this one has everything I need for a DJ rig. As before, the location of the power switch is the only thing I could really find wrong, but the performance makes up for it. So much stuff packed into this small, yet lightweight unit makes it so close to perfect, this mixer is a bargain. Sound: This is a great sounding amp on either the clean or gain channel. Ease of Use: Simple to use and understand. Support: Never had to use support, it hasn't broke. Overall: Best amp I have owned.
