Sound: Great sounding guitar... can imitate the sounds of many songs, and makes almost anyone sound good. Ease of Use: Can pick it up and start playing. But now I'm glad I ignored the reviews. This case has a unique color scheme. Silver and black on the outside and purple on the inside, which looks very nice. It fits my JTK2 very snug! Which im sure would be the same for the JTK1. The picture on the website had the case saying "ibanez" on the outside but mine says "JET KING". No big deal. I kind of like that better. Overall a good case for the price. Ibanez JTK2 Jet King Electric Guitar Nothing like a blast from the past. As long as it’s got modern tweaks, appointments and consistency. The Artist is one of the first Ibanez original designs, the affordable double-cutaway alternative to the other famous mahogany double-humbucker. The set-neck Iceman with its mahogany/humbucker power is the most easily identifiable radical guitar shape-from any distance. They’ve modified the funky pawnshop-inspired Jet King by switching out the original humbucker with a high-output exposed polepiece humbucker for stronger leads. Think ‘50s greaser guitar with ‘70s hotrodding. It really is worth twice what you pay for, and I'm sure if it was a Fender, you would be paying twice as much. Quality: Pretty darn good for a Korean factory, well soldered electronics, good finish, no blemishes or anything like that. Great work horse on the road as you'd have a hell of a time trying to break it. Value: this thing is better than any guitar selling for 500 bucks or less. Desirability: Awesome looks, a style all its own, its looks alone are what first caught my eye! Sound: For the price, the sound is really something. The humbuckers are smooth and powerful & the coil taps really make it versatile. The excellent mahogany body & neck combo really lend some sustain to the guitar. It's great for all kinds of music, though I wouldn't really recommend it for metal. Ease of Use: Plug in & play, very small learning curve on the controls as you can figure them all out in about 10 seconds. Very playable, beefy neck, I love the neck probably the most as it's substantial but no overly large. Plus the satin neck finish makes it a dream to play on, no friction on you hands what so ever. Support: never needed to contact them. Overall: I've been playing it for almost 3 years. I've done a lot of custom work on it to make it really mine, but it was really good before I changed anything on it. Ibanez LU10 Chromatic Tuner These tuners are designed for electric guitars and basses, as well as acoustic guitars. The clever LU10 is an easy-to-use tuner withan LED display including a large, bright note display. It's very easy to work with. It has a small mic, and a 1/4" input and output on it. The flat button lets you tune down up to 3 half steps while keeping the note names the same, and theres a calibration button which has to do with the frequencies or something(never used it). I've seen other tuners in the same price range with the same features, plus metronome and a speaker to play the pitch. Quality: It's a bit large, so it might take up a lot of room if you keep it in your case. That doesnt really reflect the quality though, just a poor design. The thing that really bugs me is that the whole row of LED's will faintly blink every couple of seconds if you leave your battery in, so I usually take the battery out after every use which is a pain in the ass. Value: There are much better tuners out there for the same price. Sound: It may get the job done(tuning that is), if you're lucky. Ease of Use: This thing is so erratic, you can never really tell if you're in tune or not. You can pluck a string, and the center blue LED will come on, telling you its in tune, but then it'll keep shifting all over the place. The letter display goes all over the place too. You might have a G, but it'll say C and still be in tune, then it might go back to saying G a bit later. Overall: I want a new tuner badly. Ibanez LU20 Pedal Tuner Yes, people have been asking for one for some time. And yes, it took Ibanez some time to come out with their first pedal tuner. They think you'll find it was worth the wait. I used it in the studio, then played outdoors and the sound was great. Going to buy one tomorrow. You get exactly what you pay for. Desirability: This case looks great and fits my Ibanez AEF37 perfectly. It has a black interior so it isn't as stunning as the quilted red lining in a Coffin Case, but there's no mistaking the quality. Overall: There's probably a better case available but I'll never need it. This will last as long as the guitar does. I payed 230 for a blemished one and LOVE it Desirability: Pretty simple looking guitar, no fancy anything. I personally like the head but besides that nothing that great about it. Sound: It has a very nice sound, my friend has an Art Wood that cost more than double this but this guitar still has the same great sound. Ease of Use: The strings it comes with are, ok. They have a great sound but are kinda rough. I'm planning on getting lighter strings. Support: Never had to call, it has a warranty so I'll give it a 10 Overall: I hope to keep this thing for atleast 8 year, long enough to get me though college and I think it will meet my expectations. Adjustable fret board so if its cold or hot you can re allign the fret board so it is not tapered as much. Quality: Extremley well made and secure. Playing it is now a pure pleasure as the fret markers are slightly wider than normal to allow easy solo playing higher up the neck. Value: This is worth every penny and i do not regret parting with my cash for this master piece Desirability: The painjob looks great when doing an on stage performance, only problem is finger marks show straight away so cleaning is a must after every session Sound: The sound is unbelievably clear for this price range. I moved up to this guitar from a Gibson Epiphone G400 and i noticed the difference straight away. Ability to change and mould the bass and treble to your liking this guitar is not easily matched in versatility Support: Ive never dealt with Ibanez directly only with my local supplier Overall: I expect this product to keep me satisfied for a long time, extremely fun to play, extremley stunning paint work (sparkling blue) Everything about this guitar is what i wanted and needed. One of the main features is the amazing pickups and the fact that there is eight strings on it. Quality: Sturdy as they get. You could drop it on the floor a dozen times and it will still be in good shape. I don't have a scratch on it. Value: It's a lot of money, but it's also 8 strings. possibilities are endless. Wish it had some sort of trem Desirability: 8 strings. seriously. Sound: 8 strings!!!! EMG pickups!!!! this guitar is serious. Ease of Use: If you are switching from 7 to 8 strings, it ain't to bad. I don't know if you are gonna try and switch from 6 to 7, that might be tough. EMG pickups allow you to get some really great sound. Support: Never used it. Overall: Lot of money to put into a guitar, but i say that it's worth it. The RG2550 has a 24 fret thin, flat and fast Wizard Prestige neck, an Edge-Pro tremolo system, and DiMarzio pickups. Beautiful Sound: This guitar is a metal guitar through and through and not surprisingly that is what it delivers the Dimarzio pickups leave it sounding sweet and the pinched harmonics squeel like a beast. If you play metal and want a medium priced professional guitar this is the one for you. Ease of Use: The neck is probably the selling point of the guitar but the rest doesn't disappoint. Support: no. Quality: For the money, this guitar blows out all others. it sounds great, is very sturdy, and is just downright a mean guitar that is ready for a mean player Value: Very good bang for the Buck, highly recommended Desirability: this guitar is sexy, if you suck at playing guitar, atleast you can look good doing so with this guitar Sound: This guitar sounds as good as it looks. if you like rock or metal, then this guitar is for you becuase it handles distortion like a pro. Each time I have taken it in to be set up, it only takes a couple of weeks or so to get fret buzz or 'dead' notes. Value: Decent guitar for teh price. I wouldn't get it if you want low action and no fret buzz. Desirability: It's got a sleak black finish and it's a guitar with a long neck. 'Sexy.' Sound: It sounds really good. Stock pickups aren't too bad. A great guitar to use as an introduction to the 7-string family. Different pick up switch settings but I think the bridge position sounds best. Value: This is all about perspective, and I own and have played much more expensive guitars....this Ibanez holds its own. I'm not a guitar snob that believes cost is the dominant factor in a good guitar...being a good guitar is the thing that makes it a good guitar (pretty simple, eh?!) Desirability: Beautiful! Sound: I've been playing 29 years and I have a 20+ year-old Westone (British distributed now) and a Les Paul Standard, and this Ibanez holds its own in the "shred" department. I personally like the sound of the pickups and don't plan on changing them out (excluding the single coil, but I'm not a single coil guy). The sound can be very clean, but "dirty" up easily (Iron Maiden-style, not System of a Down). I've had this guitar for half-a-year now and I like it more every day. NO problems what-so-ever. I love heavy basses and Ibanez are usually built like tanks. However, the finish on the bass is very nice, so you might not want to scuff it up. Value: I got this bass for $400 which was good for what it is. It's not a top-of-the line bass, but for it's price I think it's one of the best you'll find depending on your style of play. Desirability: For it's price... I might venture to say that it is the sexiest bass I've ever seen. Sound: This bass can get some very deep tones (Characteristic of Ibanez). However, I was surprised by the clarity of the highs. It's a little hard to get a lively, punchy sound out of it. It's more of a compressed tone, great for rock music. Ease of Use: With most Ibanez basses, the neck is very narrow. Add the fact that it's a five string and it's amazing how fast the action is, making it a prime metal/rock/hardcore bass. However, due to the relative proximity of the strings it becomes difficult to slap on this bass. Support: This is my second Ibanez bass and I've never needed support. So, that should say something. I use it every Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at church and I have had no problems. You have to be careful with the wood from getting scars. It stays in tune quite well and it is easy to polish up. I've been playing my TCY10 for about a year, recently I ordered the beautiful midnight blue TCY10. Whenever I strike a note it sounds like the clouds just opened up, and believe me, that's not my guitar playing that makes those beautiful sounds either. Support: They have a toll free number. Overall: It's never leaving me I can say that much. This thing will be good forever. If I ever need to replace anything, it might be the strings or strap. If the product were stolen, I'd buy another one just like it. I wish I knew a place that sold my guitar in town so I wouldn't have to wait forever to get it. The finish makes this guitar that much more likable: more guitars should have a violin finish. The ash also took to the stain well not just the high gloss makes it look good but the wood used is beautiful. Value: For thinbody, double cutaway, electric-acoustics it's a great buy. Desirability: The aesthetics are amazing from the eliptical sound hole with the inlays, and finally the gorgeous violin finish and the grain pattern from the ash wood this gutar attracts people to whomever is playing it. Sound: Thin bodied guitars are still in their own category for sound they can't compete with full bodied guitars yet, and it's not really that bad as an acoustic but when plugged in over a system I've gotten great results. Support: No problems, their customer service line is helpful. Overall: The only other reason to buy another guitar would supplement this Ibanez, you're going to like playing this Talman and keep it around for a long time. I looked into Morgan Monroe and Talkamanie for their double cut electric-acoustics, and came up with this one instead. It was among the first I looked at and then after continual serching became the favorite. Desirability: I have it hooked up to my zoom 707 multi-effect processor, it is perfect putting these together, as the zoom and a range very nice phaser and flange effects, which can be modfied with extensivly with this pedal Sound: There is way to much natural noise coming off the circuitry which nakes it very difficult for good quality recording. A friend from church gave it to me. Sound: I play this pedal through my Line6 SpiderII 112 amp and this pedal works great w/ it. It adds the extra distortion to the Crunch channel in my amp. Although this isnt a distortion pedal but it does add some to my amp. It also sounds great through the clean channel w/ some chorus. Ease of Use: It is real easy to use. And like I said earlier the interface is just poor, they have clearly not hired a usability expert for this project.I would not rely on it. I learned to always save my project before messing with it since it can lock up badly. Value: If it was prices somewhere around $50-$100 it would have been ok, but this thing is just way to pricey considering that unlike hardware, software doesn't cost anything to reproduce.My point is that you can get a V-Amp Pro for $200 and that baby costs a lot more to produce than Amplitube does. Designing and producing hardware is just way more costly than producing software, so the price really doesn't make any sense, and it's defenitely not worth it. Desirability: No thanks Sound: The effects are weak. The distortions sounds really bad and metallic. The clean sound is OK but not good compared to Vox Tonelab.I can get a good bass-sound with it though, so that's one use for it. Overall: Considering the price and the quality it's nothing more that an expensive toy.Unless you are really deperate about getting a plugin amp modeller go out and buy a V-Amp, Pod, Vox Tonelab, Genesis 3 or something, they are all better.
